The government is expected to increase the contribution limit for Junior ISAs (JISAs) by 20%, allowing investment up to £3,600 per year.

Mark Hoban , Financial Secretary to the Treasury, is expected to announce the limit will increase from the current £3,000 limit that was indicated when child trust funds (CTFs) were scrapped, according to The Telegraph.

The government confirmed its plan for JISAs in the Budget in March.
